An ancient process of Italian Master Glass Cutters is a style named “Battuto”. Plain Glass is etched with different diamond wheels to achieve a particular design engraved into the glass itself.

The blue glass bead here is one style of Battuto Glass. Curved glass tubes (tubos in Italian) in matte glass. Rhodium plated magnetic clasp.
